EQUUS International Pony Play Event.

We are welcoming Ponies, Trainers, Handlers, Grooms, teams of Pony/Trainers and all those who love them.

 

Friday DAY, August 9, 2019

1:00 PM  Registration is OPEN

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM  Meet and Greet in Main Room is OPEN.  Meet & Greet the presenters at EQUUS International Pony Play Event. Schmooze with old friends. Whinny to new friends and nuzzle with your herd.

1 PM  Vendor Market in the Zeus Room is OPEN

2 PM  Welcome to EQUUS International Pony Play Event by Miss Ann

2:10 PM  Introduction of Judges (North American Pony Trainer Leather title Judges, Equus Pony Games Judges), and Presenters

2:30 PM  NAPTC Contestants:  Presentation Topic selection

2:45 PM  The Door Prize ticket drawing (the tease begins)

3:00 PM – 3:45 PM  Classroom Presentation: TBA

The Games begin…

CORRAL (dimensions of corral are 20′ x 30′)

Everyone may try every game.  No one is required to compete for a ribbon.  All Games include a practice run and/or opportunity to try out that game.  All Ponies will be assigned numbers at Registration.  All numbers will be called so that every Pony has the opportunity to try each type of play/game. It will be clearly announced when Judging for a Game begins.

Draft Horse Body harness Provided if you wish to use it.

3:00 PM  Draft Horse Game

Sled with cardboard boxes piled on it.
Draft horse pulls sled measured distance and is not loose any blocks off of sled.  Bonus points for Draft Horse behaviorism/mannerisms and if blocks do not fall.  Timed for point tie disputes.

 

4:00 PM  Draft Horse Game

Precision Game:  Travel measured distance with Rider gathering cones

Draft horse pulls sled measured distance while the Handler picks up cones and puts each cone on the sled.  Bonus points for Draft Horse behaviorism/mannerisms and if cones do not fall off sled.  Timed for point tie disputes.

Friday NIGHT, August 10, 2018

“Western Game Night”  in Main Room

Event is open to the Public.

The Auction donations for the North American Pony/Trainer Travel Fund will be on display for viewing. The Auction is held Saturday Night, August 11th during The Pony Show which starts at 10 PM.

The Games begin…

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.

It is highly recommended to wear shoes that grip and assist you in making quick turns and weaves.  No high heels nor small heel footwear nor Pony shoe will be allowed on the course.

8:30 PM Pony Game

Precision Game

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.

9:00 PM Pony Game

9:30 PM Trainer Game

Western Reining

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.

10 PM Trainer Game

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.  Each turn is limited to 2.5 minutes.

10:30 PM Pony Game

Gymkhana Game

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.

  •  There is Trainer award, “Western Discipline” Buckle.

11 PM – Open Corral

There will be a sign up sheet for participants at The Meet & Greet.  Sign Up opens at 3 PM, Friday Afternoon, August 11th.

Schmooze and Mingle, practice your Pony Show routine, bdsm play available, the Bar is open.

 

1 am – Close of Friday Night.

 

 

Saturday DAY, August 11, 2018

 

Vender Room Open 9 am Hera Room

main Room:

9 am – 10:45 am Pony Play Space open for practice. There will be a sign up sheet for reservation of time in corral, 15 minute intervals. (dimensions of room: 20′ x 30′)

10 am – 1 PM & 2 PM – 3:45 PM  Carousel Ponies on Main Stage

There will be a sign up sheet for participants at The Meet & Greet.  Sign Up opens at 3 PM, Friday Afternoon, August 11th.

10:45 am Trainer Game (in MAIN ROOM)

Dressage (corral will be 20′ x 30′)

Dressage Tests will be posted January 1st, 2019 for Introductory, Novice, Intermediate and Open Levels

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.

This game is timed and deductions are made for faults

4 PM Pony Game

Jumper Game

There will be a sign up sheet for participants.  It is the opportunity to experience this type of Pony Play.

 

  • There is a Trainer Award, “Eventing”, which combines Dressage, Obstacle Course and Hunter.
  • There is a “High Point” award, which will be given to the Pony with the most points awarded from the Judges.

Hades Room:

MAIN ROOM:

1:00 PM     15 minute Presentations by NAPT Contestants

2:00 PM – 2:45 PM  Signing Extravaganza

Ponies, Trainers and fans gather to sign Equus International Pony Play Calendars, books, whatever. All years of Equus Calendars will be available to buy.  Authors of books may sell and sign them.

Saturday NIGHT, August 11, 2018

 

“The Pony Show” in the MAIN ROOM

Event is open to the Public.

9 PM The doors open

9:30 PM  The Pre-Show Flag and Pony Parade

10 PM The Pony Show
5 minute performances in any style by participants in the EQUUS International Pony Play Event.

Ribbons Awarded to the EQUUS International Pony Play Event Participants in between performances.

11:15 PM Auction of Baskets

Midnight  Announce the North American Pony/Trainer 2020 and Runner-Up & Celebration Dance

 

1 am – close of Saturday Night.

 

Sunday, August 12, 2018

10:00 am     Carting at Kenneth Hahn Park in the Olympic Forest and a Picnic

There will be a reserved shuttle with pick up at 10:30 am for those without cars or uber funds.  There will be a sign up sheet for spaces on the car.

We have two carts.  Participants who bring carts are welcome to drive to Kenneth Hahn Park and bring their cart.

The Picnic menu:  TBA  (included with Weekend Pass)
